If you are looking for a sleek, easy to use roof rack system that you can carry around fun accessories like kayaks or a bike rack, or even expand your cargo space through the roof box or roof basket, well our Yakima roof rack here is gonna be a good option for you. Something very unique to the Yakima Skyline system is how easy it is to take off and reattach. So you just pull the end caps, you can lift it off of the landing pad and you even get little storage covers to put on top so that you have a very sleek system. So this keeps the functionality of having a roof rack, but if you don't want the roof rack on, you can take it right off. What I've found though with the Highlander is there really isn't a reason to take off your crossbars because look at the roof of the car. more

If you're looking at crossbars, one of the main benefits that you're gonna get out of this, it's gonna be able to increase your capacity for the cargo you can transport. Even though you're in a pickup, you have a bed, and you have the double cab model, as far as cargo space, it is kind of still limited, 'cause it's not a super huge vehicle. Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Cross Bars on a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. Great addition to a 4Runner because they already have the factory side rails, and these just kind of clamp around them, making it super easy to get them on and off. And this is mostly designed for clamp-around accessories that go around the bar. But also, the rubber here, you can peel that off and use T-track accessories as well. And once you have those in place, you can cut this rubber, and it's gonna keep this nice and protected and also keep wind and water from getting into the bars. Now, these bars are rated at 165 pounds, which is pretty solid. more

They're also available in silver and these are 58 inch bars. You can also get them in a 50 inch measurement as well. Factory side rails generally look pretty cool especially on a 4Runner, but really until you use them you don't really get the added benefit of that real estate on top of the roof. Taking a closer look at our system, it's gonna be comprised of our 50-inch JetStream crossbars, our skyline towers, and our landing pad bases. Those are all gonna work together to kinda give you some extra space up top if you wanna carry any roof boxes or kayaks too. Our crossbars are gonna be made of aluminum with a black powder coat finish. It just means it's gonna be lightweight and corrosion resistant. Even though it's made of aluminum, it can still withhold 165 pounds. more

Hey, everybody, Cooper here with etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System on our 2023 Toyota RAV4. Now, if you wanna carry around some extra long items, maybe you like a kayak or maybe some lumber that you get from the depot store, or want some extra storage space for a long car ride, the first thing you're going to need is a roof rack system. Now, the system we have on here today is going to be made up of three different parts. The first one is going to be our 49 inch crossbars, then our platforms that they're going to attach to, and then finally, that whole system will set into our fit kit that is specially tailored for our RAV4. The roof rack we have on today is what we call a fixed point system, because there are plates along the roof of your RAV4 that you pop out, and then the fit kit will fit into those, and this is the definitive placement for your roof rack, meaning that there's not really any modularity in moving them forward or backwards. more

Thule WingBar Edge Crossbars Installation - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Aiden Hi everyone, Aiden here etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Thule roof rack system for raised rails, on a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So this system is gonna utilize the wing bar edge crossbars. This is gonna be an arrow bar which is gonna help with just general wind noise and cutting through that air pretty well. They're gonna work pretty well for any clamp around accessories, they're a very standard size but then there's also the T track up top, where if we remove these outer covers on the feet we're gonna slide our accessories in and the weather stripping will conform around those T track accessories and make sure that there's no wind noise getting in there. So this is one of those systems that's going to end in the foot pack, where the crossbar ends about here-ish and it doesn't leave any overhang. more

Today, we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Malone Airflow2 Roof Rack here on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So, adding a roof rack to your 4Runner, it's gonna be a great idea because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now, there's actually a number of different things we can use a roof rack for. If we wanted to hit the trails, we could easily throw a couple bikes up here, or if we just wanted to free up some space inside the vehicle for our family on those long road trips, we could easily attach either a roof mounted cargo box or cargo carrier. Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Inno aero roof rack system with our 57-inch long crossbars and our Inno through feet, right here on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. So now many 4Runners arrive with factory crossbars that go right into your rail and are also adjustable and are also slightly aerodynamic. Remember, the downside to those is you don't have a T-channel and you have super limited crossbar clearance underneath. I was not able to clamp down most of our accessories here at etrailer because of how limited that was. It's very easy to damage your roof with them being so low. more

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner INB127- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Inno roof rack system with the Inno square crossbars that are 50 inches long, the Inno feet for square crossbars, right here on our 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Now for a comparison between these square bars and other roof racks design for your 4Runner is if you want more weight capacity, you would go with the square crossbars because they're made of steel, they have more capacity, but they could be slightly noisier compared to an aero crossbar. So that's something worth considering. Also, you might even want the longer crossbars, since if you want more overhang, this doesn't provide more overhang. You could just easily step up the size, no issues at all. more
